How do collagen stimulators work?
Collagen stimulators contain biodegradable particles. Once placed in the skin, the body responds by forming new collagen around them, while the particles themselves are slowly absorbed.
The result is gradual: skin looks thicker, firmer and smoother, and in some areas gains subtle volume. Because the change comes from your own tissue, it tends to look natural and last longer than the product itself.
In our Skin Architecture approach, collagen stimulators work in the dermis or the layer just below. Sagging from the SMAS fascia is better addressed with HIFU or RF lifting, often alongside.
PDLLA, PLLA or PCL — what's the difference?
All three stimulate collagen, but they differ in particle type, how they are mixed and how quickly they act. PDLLA products such as Juvelook are often used for skin quality and texture, with a higher-concentration version for mild volume. PLLA products such as Sculptra are widely used for gradual volume restoration. PCL-based stimulators combine a gel carrier with collagen-stimulating microspheres.

What happens on the day?
A physician assesses your skin and face first, then explains which stimulator and depth suit your goal. Some products require mixing in advance, so timing is confirmed when you book.

Recovery, aftercare and travel plans
Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common for a few days. Some products require regular massage for several days afterwards — your physician will tell you if this applies.
If you are visiting Seoul, allow 3–5 days before a flight or event. As results build over months, many visitors plan the next session around a return trip, using their Skin Library record for continuity.
Small lumps or nodules are an uncommon risk with collagen stimulators, and unlike HA filler they cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase. They are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infection, or with a tendency to keloid scarring.
