Juvelook in Jongno & Myeongdong Juvelook in Seoul, explained.

Juvelook is an injectable collagen stimulator combining PDLLA microparticles with hyaluronic acid. It gradually improves skin texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and shallow acne scarring by encouraging your own collagen. Juvelook, in brief.

The essentials, answered plainly. Your physician confirms what applies to your skin at consultation.

Ask a physician
What it is
A Korean injectable that pairs poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) microparticles with hyaluronic acid.
Best for
Rough texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, shallow acne scars and skin that has lost some density.
How it works
PDLLA particles prompt a gentle, gradual collagen response; hyaluronic acid adds early hydration.
Skin layer treated
The dermis — where collagen density shapes texture, pores and fine lines.
Treatment time
About 20–30 minutes, after around 30 minutes of numbing cream.
Downtime
Small bumps and redness for a day or two; pinpoint bruising can take a few days to fade.
Results
Gradual — improvement usually builds over 1–3 months as new collagen forms.
Typical course
Usually 2–3 sessions, about 4–6 weeks apart, as advised by your physician.

How does Juvelook work?

Juvelook contains PDLLA — a biodegradable, biocompatible material — suspended with hyaluronic acid. Once placed in the dermis, the PDLLA microparticles trigger a controlled healing response that encourages fibroblasts to lay down new collagen over the following weeks.

The hyaluronic acid gives a little early hydration while that slower process begins. Because results come from your own collagen, the change is subtle and natural: skin tends to look smoother and denser rather than fuller.

In our Skin Architecture approach, Juvelook works in the dermis. If your concern is deeper volume loss, your physician may suggest Juvelook Volume or a filler instead.

Juvelook or Rejuran — which suits my skin?

Both are skin-quality injectables, but they work differently. Juvelook stimulates collagen, so it is often chosen for texture, pores and shallow scarring. Rejuran (polynucleotides) supports repair and resilience, and is often chosen for thin, tired or sensitised skin.

Some people benefit from both at different times. Mark-Vu imaging of pores, wrinkles and moisture helps your physician decide which to start with.

What happens on the day?

Every visit begins with a physician. After imaging and a short consultation, numbing cream is applied, and the injections are placed evenly across the treatment area with a fine needle or cannula.

  • Physician consultation and Mark-Vu skin imaging
  • Numbing cream (around 30 minutes)
  • Juvelook injections across the treated area (20–30 minutes)
  • Soothing care and written aftercare in English
  • Treatment details recorded in your Skin Library

Recovery, aftercare and travel plans

Expect small raised bumps and mild redness for a day or two, and possibly some pinpoint bruising. Most people return to normal plans the same day; make-up is usually fine from the next day.

Avoid saunas, intense exercise and alcohol for a few days, and follow any massage advice your physician gives. If you are visiting Seoul, allowing 2–3 days before a flight or event is a comfortable margin.

Juvelook is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active skin infection or inflammation in the area, or with a tendency to keloid scarring. Your physician will review your history at consultation.

V — Questions

Juvelook — asked & answered.

General information only. Your physician will advise on what is right for your skin.

Ask your own question
How many Juvelook sessions will I need?

Most people have 2–3 sessions, about 4–6 weeks apart. Your physician may adjust this depending on how deep your texture or scarring concerns are.

When will I see results from Juvelook?

There is a little early hydration from the hyaluronic acid, but the main change is gradual. Texture and fine lines usually improve over 1–3 months as collagen builds.

Does Juvelook add volume?

Not noticeably — standard Juvelook is designed for skin quality rather than shape. For mild volume, your physician may discuss Juvelook Volume or a hyaluronic acid filler.

Can I fly after Juvelook?

Yes — flying does not affect the treatment. We suggest leaving 2–3 days before a flight or event so bumps and any small bruises have settled.

Can Juvelook be combined with laser or lifting?

Often, yes. It is commonly paired with lifting or laser treatments, and your physician will plan the order and spacing so each one works well.
