Thermage FLX is the current generation of Thermage monopolar radiofrequency skin tightening. Its AccuREP technology measures the skin and tunes energy delivery for more consistent heating, tightening the dermis and stimulating collagen. What makes Thermage FLX different?
Thermage FLX keeps the same principle as earlier Thermage systems — monopolar RF heating the dermis under a cooled tip — but refines how energy is delivered.
Its AccuREP technology measures the skin's electrical resistance and tunes the energy before each pulse, aiming for more consistent heating across different areas of the face. A larger tip covers more skin per pulse, which can shorten treatment time.
In our Skin Architecture approach, Thermage FLX treats the full and lower dermis. For deeper SMAS-level sagging, your physician may combine it with Ultherapy Prime.
Is Thermage FLX right for me?
Thermage FLX suits people with early to moderate laxity — skin that has started to feel thinner, looser or crepey, with softening along the jaw. It works best as prevention and refinement rather than a substitute for surgery in significant sagging.

What happens on the day?
After consultation and imaging, the skin is cleansed, numbing cream is applied and a temporary grid is marked to guide even coverage. Each pulse brings a brief wave of heat followed by cooling and gentle vibration.

Recovery, aftercare and travel plans
Mild redness usually settles within hours, and most people return to normal plans the same day. Occasional mild swelling or tenderness can last a day or two.

How many shots will I need?
It depends on the areas treated and your skin. Your physician will recommend a shot count at consultation based on your face, eye and neck plan.
Does Thermage FLX hurt?
Each pulse feels like a short burst of deep heat followed by cooling. Numbing cream is applied first and settings are adjusted to your comfort.
Can I fly after Thermage FLX?
Yes — flying is not a problem. Redness usually fades within hours, so a session shortly before departure is generally fine.
Thermage FLX or Ultherapy — which first?
They target different layers, so many people have both. Your physician will decide which comes first and how far apart, based on whether skin quality or deeper sagging is the main concern.
Is the clinic open late?
Yes — Monday to Friday until 21:00, and weekends until 19:00. Same-day treatment depends on availability and physician assessment.
