How does a consultation in English work?
It begins with imaging. Mark-Vu photographs your skin and shows what the eye misses — pigment beneath the surface, redness, pore size, moisture and fine lines. Your physician then looks at your skin in person and asks what bothers you most.
The conversation itself is in English. You will hear what the physician sees, what they would and would not suggest, and why. Our concierge is there to help with scheduling and practical questions, so the time with the doctor stays focused on your skin.
Reading your skin imaging, layer by layer
We explain skin in eight layers, from the epidermis through the dermis and fat to the SMAS, muscle and bone. A brown mark near the surface, laxity in the SMAS and volume loss deeper down need different tools — that is why two people with the same complaint can leave with different plans.
Your physician will point to the images as they explain, so you can see why a laser, an injectable or an energy device is suggested for a particular concern.
Questions worth asking your physician
Good consultations are two-way. These questions help you compare options clearly, especially if you are deciding within a short trip.

Consent and aftercare, explained in English
Before any treatment you will go through consent and aftercare in English: what to expect, what is normal (redness, swelling, small bumps or bruising, depending on the treatment) and what is not. Ask for anything to be repeated or written down — it is better to leave clear than to guess.
After you leave, the concierge remains on WhatsApp for questions in English, whether you are back at your hotel in Myeongdong or home again.

How long does the consultation take?
Allow time for check-in, Mark-Vu imaging and the physician conversation; the concierge will give you a realistic estimate when you book. Add more time if you hope to be treated the same day.
Is the clinic easy to find from Euljiro?
Yes — Euljiro 1-ga and Euljiro 3-ga stations are each about five minutes on foot from Pagoda Tower on Cheonggyecheon-ro, just across the stream in Jongno.
